Job summary

Easyfairs is seeking a WordPress Engineer with at least three years of experience to join our online platforms team. You will develop new functionality in our WordPress-based solutions and help maintain existing code, reporting to the Head of Online Platforms.

Must be fluent in English and proficient in PHP, WordPress, JavaScript, HTML and CSS. Experience with Gutenberg, Elementor, multilingual sites, Git, and CI/CD is a plus. Remote-friendly, with opportunities to learn and grow.

Qualifications

• Three years of WordPress plugin development experience.
• Proficiency with PHP, WordPress, JavaScript, HTML and CSS.
• Experience with multilingual websites is required or highly desirable.
• Familiarity with Gutenberg and Elementor Page Builders is a plus.
• Git repositories, Git flow and code reviews are familiar concepts.
• Knowledge of code quality and testing tools is a plus.
• Front-end and mobile experience (React, React Native) is a plus.
• Fluent in English (written & spoken).
• Experience in Agile teams is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Writing, documenting, testing and reviewing code following best practices for quality and architecture.
• Maintaining current WordPress-based solutions and codebases.
• Collaborating with software architects to design new features.
