Qualifications

• 7+ years of hands-on Women’s Outerwear design experience.
• Strong understanding of jacket engineering and construction.
• Proficient in women’s fit, proportion, silhouette, fabrication and functional components.
• Ability to merge technical functionality with feminine design and commercial appeal.
• Experience collaborating with overseas manufacturing partners to meet target costs.
• Portfolio demonstrating technical construction, fit, fabrication and completed products.

Responsibilities

• Own the creative direction and development of Women’s technical and performance outerwear categories.
• Produce technical drawings, detailed tech packs and garment construction details.
• Select outerwear materials, insulation systems and functional trims.
• Develop silhouettes balancing fit and technical performance with commercial appeal.
• Monitor market trends and translate findings into new silhouettes and innovations.
• Collaborate with Production and overseas factories to evaluate costing and optimization.
• Incorporate AI-powered technology into design and development processes.
• Research and evaluate new AI design technologies to improve workflows.
• Maintain ongoing communication with Merchandising, Production and factories throughout the lifecycle.
