Job summary

You will create technical drawings and tech packs, select fabrics and trims, oversee prototypes and collaborate with overseas manufacturers, while integrating AI-enabled tools to enhance design

Qualifications

• 7+ years of hands-on Women’s Outerwear design experience, with technical, outdoor and performance products.
• Deep understanding of jacket engineering, construction and fit.
• Ability to merge technical functionality with feminine design and commercial appeal.
• Strong cost engineering skills and collaboration with manufacturing partners.
• Proficiency in AI-powered design tools for research, concepting and development.
• Portfolio demonstrating substantial Women’s Outerwear experience with technical construction and finished products.

Responsibilities

• Own the creative direction and development of Women’s technical and performance outerwear categories.
• Produce technical drawings, detailed tech packs and garment construction details.
• Select outerwear materials, insulation systems and trims based on product needs.
• Develop silhouettes balancing fit and technical performance with a feminine, commercial look.
• Monitor trends through consumer and competitive research and translate findings into opportunities.
• Collaborate with Production teams and overseas manufacturers to evaluate costs and optimize materials and construction.
• Incorporate AI-powered technology into design and development processes.
• Research and evaluate new AI design technologies to improve outerwear design workflows.
• Maintain ongoing communication with Merchandising, Production and overseas factories throughout the lifecycle.
