Floor & Decor is seeking a senior IT professional to lead WMS and YMS design, configuration, and implementation across distribution centers and facilities. You will work with enterprise systems, ERP, TMS and in-house developers to deliver high-quality system enhancements that meet business needs.
The role requires 5+ years in IT/consulting for retail/distribution, 3+ years WMS/YMS design, and strong problem-solving and customer service skills in a fast-paced environment.
This position is the primary responsible for WMS, YMS and other Supply chain solutions design, configuration and implementation. Supporting F&D DC’s and design enhancements, this position will work closely with internal and external business and technical resources to support delivering a top quality system for DC’s & other F&D facilities. Keys to success include: providing functional choices to meet business needs, leading successful system implementations and displaying strong technical and communications skills.
This position is salaried, knowing it may include hours which exceed eight hours in a day or forty hours in a week.
Limited travel may be required including air and car travel.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee may occasionally be exposed to a warehouse environment and moving vehicles. The noise level in the work environment is typically quiet to moderate.
Sedentary Work – Ability to exert 10 - 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or negligible amount of force frequently to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time but may involve walking or standing for brief periods of time.
