Job summary

Blue Bridge People is seeking a Software Project Manager with experience delivering WMS, WES, and/or WCS solutions to manage software delivery on large automation projects. You will own the software portion from design through go-live and transition to support, coordinating with software engineers, customers, and third-party providers.

The role requires 5+ years in project management, strong knowledge of software integrations, and the ability to travel 30–50% to customer sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Supply Chain, Business, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of project management experience, including software delivery/implementation projects.
• Experience with WMS, WES, and/or WCS in distribution, fulfillment, manufacturing, or automated environments.
• Experience managing multiple concurrent projects with schedule, budget, resources, and customer delivery.
• Knowledge of Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid delivery methodologies.
• Experience with JIRA and MS Project or similar tools.
• Strong understanding of software integrations and ability to work with technical teams and providers.
• Strong forecasting and budget management skills.
• Excellent customer-facing communication with stakeholders.
• Willingness to travel 30-50% to customer sites.

Responsibilities

• Own the software project lifecycle for assigned WMS, WES, and/or WCS implementations from design through go-live and transition to support.
• Manage software scope, schedule, resources, budget, risks, and customer deliverables across multiple projects.
• Coordinate development, integration, testing, and deployment activities with engineering teams.
• Integrate software activities with the broader automation project schedule including equipment and controls work.
• Manage software interfaces with customer systems, ERP/WMS, and third-party tech.
• Identify scope gaps, risks, and change orders; drive resolution.
• Coordinate testing activities including FAT, SAT, UAT, and end-to-end testing.
• Oversee software documentation, test plans, defects, and training materials.
• Monitor project financials and forecasts; report status to leadership and customers.
• Serve as primary customer contact for software scope and escalations.
• Collaborate with third-party providers to meet interface requirements on schedule.
• Support commissioning, go-live, and transition to post-project support.
• Provide regular status updates on schedule, budget, resources, risks, and issues.
