Job summary

Blue Yonder seeks a Sr Solution Architect (Warehouse Management Systems) to lead functional consulting for WMS deployments across the Americas. This role is virtual in US with 50-75% travel within the US.

You will design best-in-class WMS solutions, be the functional liaison among customers, Project Managers, and technical teams, and drive successful delivery from requirements through go-live.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years of WMS experience in tier-1 environments or as a consultant
• Hands-on configuration across multiple full-lifecycle WMS implementations (5+ engagements)
• Experience delivering WMS in cloud/SaaS models; release management advised
• Experience with other leading WMS/Supply Chain solutions is a plus
• Management consulting or Supply Chain Center experience preferred
• DC operations experience strongly preferred
• Experience with automated DC environments (MHE/WCS/WES, sortation) preferred

Responsibilities

• Drive design, optimization and implementation of WMS solutions for customers
• Lead requirements-gathering and design workshops with stakeholders
• Configure and validate core warehouse functions (receiving, putaway, picking, packing, shipping)
• Define integration approaches between WMS and ERP/OMS/TMS/host
• Lead data migration and master data readiness
• Conduct system integration and user acceptance testing
• Lead cutover planning and go-live execution
• Author functional designs, configuration specs and test scripts
