Job summary

Amazon Leo is building a constellation of Low Earth Orbit satellites to deliver low-latency broadband worldwide. This role defines the communication system and architecture for Leo’s wireless network, focusing on MAC and higher-layer testing.

You will develop and test advanced L1/L2/L3 concepts and simulate performance using Matlab/C++/Python. The team builds and verifies system-level performance, works with HW/SW teams, and contributes to robust, scalable wireless solutions for future satellite

Qualifications

• Master's degree in CS, CE or EE or equivalent experience in electrical engineering.
• 7+ years of wireless system design and RF implementation experience.
• Experience with system integration, RF system analysis.
• 7+ years of coding in Matlab, C, C++, or Python with industry-standard practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead integration, verification and testing of Leo's communication system.
• Build a suite of system and network simulation services in Matlab / C++ / Python.
• Develop requirements from system level to HW/SW level and define test cases.
• Identify HW/SW needs for verification and guide development teams.
• Collaborate with implementation teams to simulate performance and provide feedback.
• Write scripts / code for functions required for simulation, testing and verification of the RF system.
