Job summary

Advanced Micro Devices is seeking a Wired System Architect to shape product definitions, reference designs, and customer engagements for high-performance networking solutions. You will drive architecture decisions across silicon, IP, and boards, partnering with customers and ecosystem players to deliver optimized, market-ready solutions.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s in engineering is a must; Master’s or PhD is a plus.
  • Experience in design of wired subsystems for OEMs using FPGA/SoC and/or ASICs.
  • Deep knowledge of Ethernet protocols and security standards.

Responsibilities

  • Lead system architecture for wired networking products and reference designs.
  • Identify customer system requirements and develop architecture proposals to differentiate and optimize cost, power, and time-to-market.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and partner ecosystem to enable timely execution of IP and system reference designs.
  • Define system design requirements and drive implementation of reference designs.
  • Activate sales and field enablement to promote AMD technology adoption.
