Job summary

ZealHire Inc. seeks a Senior Wintel Systems Administrator to join our Denver team for a 12+ month contract (CTH). This onsite role requires deep expertise in Windows Server environments, AD/Entra ID, VMware, Intune, and Microsoft 365 to deliver reliable, secure enterprise IT services.

The position is onsite in Denver, with local candidates preferred. You will manage hybrid identity, storage (NetApp), cloud services, disaster recovery, and endpoint management while coordinating with the Senior IT

Qualifications

• 5+ years of RECENT Wintel experience.
• Expertise in Active Directory and Microsoft Entra ID.
• Experienced in VMware environments.
• Experienced in Intune deployment.
• Experience in hybrid Windows AD/Entra ID environments.
• Experience managing Windows Server environments, physical and virtual.
• Experience with Office 365 and Entra ID.
• Experience with NetApp storage.
• Familiarity with Okta SSO and cloud technologies.

Overview

Client wants experiencedSenior Wintel Systems Administrator that will play a crucialrole in the delivery of core IT services. You will maintain & execute thetechnology strategy, ensuring our systems are reliable, scalable, and secure to support the unique demands of the enterprise organization. This role is responsible for ensuring the reliability, security, scalability, and performance of critical IT systems that support daily business operations across both corporate and operational environments.The ideal candidate possesses deep expertise in Microsoft technologies, hybrid identity management, virtualization, storage solutions, cloud services, endpoint management, and disaster recovery. This position reports to the Senior IT Director.

Requirements

• 5+ years of RECENT experience Wintel.
• Must have expertise in managing both Active Directory and Microsoft Entra ID.
• Experienced in VMware environments.
• Experienced in Intune deployment
• Must have prior expense overseeing all aspects of systems administration, including server management, network storage, cloud infrastructure, Active Directory, Office 365, and Entra ID. {Lead the strategy for IT systems administration, collaborating with other departments to align on strategic priorities and initiatives}
• Must have 5+ yrs previous experience managing & maintaining Windows server environments, both physical and virtual inclusive of: (Expertise with administering a hybrid Windows AD/Entra ID domain that supports both Windows and Mac) workstations
• Administer and support Active Directory, Microsoft Entra ID, and hybrid identity environments.
• Administer Microsoft 365 services, including Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint Online, and related services.
• Ensure and manage the availability and integrity of systems through robust backup and disaster recovery planning, implementation, and testing
• Monitor system performance, capacity, and availability to ensure optimal service delivery.
• Implement and maintain system documentation, standards, and operational procedures.
• Must have prior experience conducting/Admonishing VMware virtualization platforms, including hyperconverged infrastructure solutions.
• Experience in managing network storage systems such as NetApp
• Proficiency in managing cloud technologies such as Entra ID and Microsoft, including Okta Single Sign-On (SSO)
