Job summary

Northrop Grumman is seeking a Principal Computer Systems Analyst - Windows to support information system lifecycle activities. The role is on-site in Sunnyvale, CA, with responsibilities spanning Windows network operations, security compliance, and system optimization.

Candidates must hold a current Secret clearance and possess strong AD, server, and virtualization experience. Responsibilities include monitoring, backups, user account management, vendor interaction, and technical process

Qualifications

• Current U.S. Government Secret clearance required or in Continuous Evaluation.
• Windows OS proficiency including Windows 11 and Server 2012/2016 with AD concepts.
• Experience with server management, hardware installation, and networked environments.
• Ability to work after hours and weekends as needed.
• Active Top Secret clearance preferred for certain roles.

Responsibilities

• Maintain smooth operation of Windows-based networks and multi-user systems across teams.
• Provide security analysis to meet U.S. Government standards and risk reduction.
• Assess customer requirements and determine hardware/software needs for solutions.
• Suggest and deploy system enhancements, patching, monitoring, and config management.
• Provide backup/recovery, manage file systems, and virus protection routines.
• Create and manage user/computer accounts and permissions.
• Test new product releases for compatibility and minimal user impact.
• Document technical processes and procedures for operations.
• Advise on hardware/software purchases and vendor evaluations.
• Interact with vendors, discuss issues, and review product offerings.
• Adhere to IS security guidelines; prepare security documentation.
• Report project status for recurring and non-recurring efforts.
• Provide network architecture specifications as needed.
