Job summary

Nightwing seeks a Windows Systems Administrator to support IT systems and networks in a fast-paced environment. You will work with program engineering teams to deliver mission-critical solutions for government and commercial customers.

The role requires 8+ years of experience in Windows/Linux environments, with strong scripting (PowerShell, Python) and automation (Ansible) skills. A TS/SCI clearance with Full Scope Polygraph is required, and on-site work in the Maryland area is expected.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of applicable experience delivering and supporting IT solutions in government accredited program network environments using Windows and Linux Operating Systems.
• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology Systems, Cybersecurity or other STEM field is preferred.
• DOD 8140/8570 IAT Level II or higher certification (Security+ CE, CISSP, etc.) and TS//SCI clearance is required.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and system administration tasks across Windows and Linux environments, including patching and hardening.
• Install and support End-User workstations, VOIP systems, and related IT infrastructures.
• Coordinate IT operations with program personnel, security teams, and leadership.
