Job summary

Nightwing is seeking a seasoned Systems Administrator to join our mission-focused team in the United States. The role involves implementing, troubleshooting and maintaining IT systems across server/storage/network environments, providing Tier 1 and 2 support to agency management and internal customers.

Candidates must meet DoD 8570 IAT Level I, hold a technical Bachelor’s degree, and have substantial SA experience, TS/SCI with Poly, and a track record of secure, reliable operations.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of SA experience on programs of similar scope and complexity.
• DoD 8570 compliance with IAT Level I required.
• Active TS/SCI with Poly clearance required.
• Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline; advanced degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide Tier 1 (Help Desk) and Tier 2 (Escalation) support for IT systems.
• Configure and manage UNIX and Windows operating systems.
• Manage day-to-day configuration and operation of IT systems and network components.
• Provide status updates to agency management and internal customers.
• Assist with system capacity planning and performance improvements.
