Breezeline in Rochester, NH is seeking a Windows Systems Administrator to ensure the availability, performance, and security of Windows servers, virtualization, and supporting infrastructure across on‑premises and cloud environments.

The role requires 5+ years in IT infrastructure and 3+ years in a systems administration role with strong Windows/AD, VMware/Proxmox, and enterprise storage/backup experience, plus willingness for 24x7 on‑call rotation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS/IT/Engineering or related discipline.
• 5+ years in IT Infrastructure Operations with 3+ years in a Systems Administration role and public clouds.
• Advanced proficiency with Windows server ecosystem: AD, DNS, DHCP, Windows Server features.
• Experience with VMware/Proxmox and enterprise storage/backup solutions (Veeam, Rubrik, Acronis, NetApp, Isilon, Data Domain).
• Proven OS hardening, HA, DR exercises; on-call 24x7.
• Strong English communication; French a bonus.

Responsibilities

• Administers Windows servers and virtualization hosts across locations.
• Maintains VDI infrastructure operation.
• Install, configure, and troubleshoot Windows, AD, DNS, DHCP servers.
• Manage storage, virtualization platforms, backup software.
• Maintain monitoring and automation scripts for provisioning and ops.
• Plan capacity, tune servers, ensure uptime per SLAs.
• Apply patch management and security configurations.
• Maintain disaster recovery for Windows infrastructure.
• Manage daily backups and recovery operations.
• Monitor hardware/software alerts with diagnostic tools.
• Provide support to Operations and Development teams.
• Handle incidents, changes, and problems; deliver service excellence.
