Weekday is seeking an experienced Systems Administrator to join a growing Information Systems team in a global manufacturing environment. You will own broad infrastructure responsibilities, including Windows servers, Active Directory, VMware, and end-user support for about 800 users.

Qualifications

• 8–10 years of progressive IT experience.
• Hands-on systems administration experience.
• Strong experience with Microsoft Windows and Active Directory.
• Experience with VMware and server virtualization.
• End-user support and hardware troubleshooting.
• Exposure to networking, backups, connectivity, and IT security.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Administer and support Windows-based servers, workstations, and IT infrastructure.
• Manage and maintain Microsoft Windows and Active Directory environments.
• Support VMware and server virtualization platforms.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, connectivity, and end-user issues.
• Manage user accounts, permissions, access, and system configurations.
• Support networking infrastructure, including switches, connectivity, and related systems.
• Assist with backup, recovery, security, and infrastructure continuity initiatives.
• Monitor system performance, availability, and infrastructure health.
• Provide responsive technical support to users across the organization.
• Help establish and enforce IT policies, standards, and procedures.
• Participate in infrastructure transitions and improvements as the IT function grows.
• Document systems, processes, configurations, and troubleshooting procedures.
