Job summary

Amentum is seeking a Windows System Administrator for a prime contract based out of our Maryland office. This role requires TS/SCI Poly clearance, DoD 8570.01-M IAM Level I certification, and at least ten years of systems administration experience on programs of similar scope.

You will support installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of IT systems, primarily Windows, with UNIX exposure, and provide Tier I/II help desk and escalation, while ensuring security and compliance across the

Qualifications

• Ten (10) years’ experience as a SA on programs and contracts of similar scope.
• Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university.
• In lieu of a Bachelor’s degree, four (4) years of additional SA experience may be substituted for a total of fourteen (14) years of experience.
• Compliance with DoD 8570.01-M with a minimum certification of IAM Level I is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide support for implementation, troubleshooting and maintenance of IT systems.
• Provide Tier I (Help Desk) and Tier 2 (Escalation) problem identification, diagnosis and resolution of problems.
• Configure and manage UNIX and Windows operating systems and installs/loads operating system software, troubleshoots, maintain integrity and configure network components.
• Manage the daily activities of configuration and operation of IT systems.
• Provide in-depth experience in trouble-shooting IT systems.
