ASM Research, An Accenture Federal Services Company seeks a System Administrator to manage on‑prem Windows Server environments and security posture in a DOE context. You will handle patching, backups, incident response, and documentation across CMEI program offices.

Your experience should include enterprise Windows Server administration, vulnerability management with Tenable Nessus, and Azure networking. This is a senior, on‑site role in Idaho with federal clearance potential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related field; Master’s preferred.
• CompTIA A+ or ITIL certification preferred.
• 7–10 years of IT or systems administration experience.
• U.S. citizenship with ability to pass federal background check.

Responsibilities

• Administer Windows Server 2019/2022 environments, including installation, configuration, upgrades, security patches, and maintenance.
• Monitor backup/storage systems, troubleshoot alerts, and ensure recovery readiness.
• Perform vulnerability scanning and remediation using Tenable/Nessus; collaborate with EITS on scan outcomes.
• Support high level incident response, triage technical issues, and document remediation actions.
• Participate in infrastructure initiatives and security authorization evidence preparation.
• Support operational security hygiene through service account review and password rotation coordination.
• Contribute to documentation and Records Management collaboration across CMEI program offices.
