ASM Research, An Accenture Federal Services Company, seeks a System Administrator to provide day-to-day infrastructure and customer support within DOE’s on‑prem environment. You will manage Windows Server, backups, patching, incident response, and security posture.

Responsibilities include vulnerability management with Tenable/Nessus, monitoring recovery readiness, and contributing to Records Management across CMEI program offices.

Formación

• Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related field or equivalent relevant experience; Master’s Degree preferred.
• CompTIA A+ or ITIL certification preferred
• 7-10 years of experience in information technology, systems administration or other IT related field.

Responsabilidades

• Administer Windows Server 2019/2022 environments, including installation, configuration, upgrades, security patches, and scheduled maintenance.
• Monitor backup/storage systems, troubleshoot alerts, and ensure recovery readiness.
• Perform vulnerability scanning and remediation using Tenable/Nessus; collaborate with EITS on scan outcomes.
• Support high level incident response, triage technical issues, and document remediation actions.
• Participate in infrastructure initiatives (e.g., Windows 2016 retirement, IIS/logging enhancements) and security authorization evidence preparation.
• Support operational security hygiene through service account review and password rotation coordination.
• Contribute to documentation and Records Management collaboration across CMEI program offices.
