Job summary

ASM Research, An Accenture Federal Services Company, is seeking a Systems Administrator to deliver day-to-day infrastructure and customer support for DOE's on-prem environment. You will manage Windows Server 2019/2022, perform patching, backups, incident response, and help maintain the agency's security posture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related field or equivalent experience; Master’s preferred.
• CompTIA A+ or ITIL certification preferred.
• 7–10 years of experience in information technology, systems administration or related IT field.
• US citizens with ability to pass a federal background investigation.

Responsibilities

• Administer Windows Server 2019/2022 environments with installation, configuration, upgrades and patches.
• Monitor backups and storage, troubleshoot alerts, ensure recovery readiness.
• Perform vulnerability scanning and remediation using Tenable/Nessus; coordinate with EITS.
• Support incident response, triage issues and document remediation actions.
• Contribute to infrastructure initiatives and security authorization evidence.
• Support security hygiene through service account review and password rotation.
• Assist Records Management and CMEI program offices with documentation.
