Job summary

Jack Henry & Associates, Inc. is seeking an experienced Software Engineer III to design, develop, and modernize our Windows application.

You will contribute to technical design and implementation, solve complex engineering challenges, and collaborate across teams to deliver reliable and maintainable software solutions. This is a remote position and candidates must live within approximately a 70-mile radius of our office location in Allen, TX.

Qualifications

Minimum of 4 years of software development experience.
Experience with Angular, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
Experience developing responsive web applications.
Experience integrating UI applications with RESTful APIs.

Responsibilities

Completes product technical design and prototyping, software development, bug verification and resolution.
Performs system analysis and programming activities with timely, quality delivery.
Provides technical/engineering support for new and existing applications from code delivery until retirement.
Develops and tests applications based on business requirements and best practices.
Uses best practices to create and modify code, considering end users and internal teams.
Collaborates with QA to ensure timely delivery of high-quality products.
Participates in cross team projects and works on critical tasks with minimal assistance.
Plans unit tests and integration tests to ensure reliability, security, and performance.
Debugs and troubleshoots issues, providing timely resolutions.
