Job summary
US staffing Inc in Atlanta, GA is seeking a Senior Windows Server & VMware Administrator to manage Windows environments and VMware platforms in a 24x7 operational setting. The role focuses on building and administering Windows Server instances across 2003–2016 and maintaining VMware ESX/ESXi infrastructure.
The candidate will provide ownership of patching, DR/backup, directory services, and system monitoring, while collaborating with security teams to address vulnerabilities and deliver reliable
Qualifications
- Windows Server 2003, 2008, 2012, 2016 build and administer
- Administer and ensure operation of Windows servers, storage, backup, DR replication, monitoring
- Provide operational support for AD, DHCP, DNS, WINS, Group Policy, ADSI
- Patch management, app delivery and release management
- Windows servers in mixed physical and virtual (VMware ESX) environments
- Collaborate with security to manage vulnerabilities
Responsibilities
- Drives RCA preparation and SLA adherence for RCA submissions
- Performance and capacity management on VMware servers
- Provide 3rd level support and mentoring to IT Service Desk
- Operate in 24x7 shift roasters and respond to calls
- Identify and implement process improvements
- Manage virtualization infrastructure including ESX/ESXi and storage (SAN, iSCSI, VSAN)
