Job summary

Equiliem seeks a Senior Windows Server Engineer to administer and optimize enterprise Windows infrastructure in a secure, highly available environment. You will own AD, DNS, PKI, and authentication services, and drive automation with PowerShell while aligning with federal standards.

The role requires U.S. citizenship, Public Trust eligibility, and onsite work in Washington, DC five days per week. Expect collaboration with multiple teams and on-call support as needed.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of relevant systems engineering or Windows administration experience.
• 5+ years of hands-on Active Directory experience.
• 4+ years of Tier II/III Windows infrastructure support.
• 3+ years with ADFS, Okta or similar platforms.
• Strong hands-on with Windows Server, AD, DNS, PKI, PowerShell.

Responsibilities

• Configure, administer, troubleshoot, and maintain Windows Server environments.
• Manage Active Directory domains, GPOs, permissions, and service accounts.
• Support DNS, Certificate Authorities/PKI, certificate management.
• Manage authentication technologies including ADFS, SAML, SSO, and Okta.
• Develop and maintain PowerShell scripts for automation and monitoring.
• Install, patch, harden, and troubleshoot Windows servers.
• Implement security controls per STIG/NIST/DISA standards.
• Monitor and troubleshoot Tier II/III Windows issues.
• Support physical, virtual, and cloud infrastructure.
• Collaborate on technical designs and documentation.
• Maintain project priorities and deliverables.
