Job summary

Qualcomm Technologies, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled software engineer to lead Windows platform development for Snapdragon Windows Platform/SoC.

You will drive feature definition, development, and deployment across Windows OS, APIs, kernel, and drivers. The role requires deep Windows expertise, strong leadership, and collaboration with cross-functional teams including hardware architects, product managers, and OEMs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field, plus 6+ years software experience.
• Master's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field, plus 5+ years experience.
• PhD in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field, plus 4+ years experience.
• 3+ years of work experience with programming languages such as C, C++, Java, Python, etc.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership for Windows platform development activities related to Snapdragon Windows Platform/SoC.
• Lead Windows development for complex features and subsystems to meet product requirements; advise on driver, security, and system architecture details.
• Drive System BIOS/UEFI/ACPI/OS compatibility and enterprise security features across the software life cycle.
• Identify and mitigate technical risks ensuring robust security and compliance.
• Act as a technical expert on PC industry trends and cross-team collaboration for roadmap direction.
• Research requirements, develop prototypes, and guide cross-functional design reviews.
