Infowave Systems, Inc. is seeking a Senior Windows Platform & Automation Engineer to own the Windows Server platform lifecycle, implement automation, and partner with Security to enhance reliability and compliance.

The role requires hands-on experience with AD, Group Policy, PowerShell, and cloud environments (AWS/Azure) across virtual and physical infrastructure. The candidate will drive standardization, runbooks, and governance while evaluating new technologies to modernize the Windows

Formación

• Hands-on experience in engineering, securing, and supporting enterprise Windows Server environments.
• Experience with Windows Server, Active Directory, Group Policy, and PowerShell, as well as patch management and vulnerability remediation.
• Experience supporting Windows Server across physical infrastructure, VMware and Nutanix virtual environments, and AWS- and Azure-hosted environments.
• Develop, maintain, and continuously improve operational processes, technical standards, security baselines, documentation, and runbooks.
• Troubleshoot complex Windows infrastructure and communicate and collaborate with infrastructure, security, and cross-functional teams.
• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, Cybersecurity, or equivalent experience.
• Experience with AWS, Azure, VMware, and Nutanix environments.
• Experience with infrastructure automation, Infrastructure-as-Code, and configuration management tools.
• Familiarity with CIS benchmarks, Microsoft security baselines, and compliance-driven environments.
• Relevant Microsoft, cloud, automation, or security certifications preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Own the Windows Server platform lifecycle, including patching, OS upgrades, server builds, retirements, and vulnerability remediation.
• Define, maintain, and continuously improve processes, standards, documentation, and operational runbooks.
• Partner with system administrators to execute platform activities while maintaining overall process ownership and governance.
• Drive automation, standardization, and operational efficiencies through PowerShell, Ansible, and other tooling.
• Maintain Windows security baselines, Group Policy standards, and platform hardening practices.
• Partner with Infrastructure and Security teams to improve platform reliability, security, compliance, and supportability.
• Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend improvements that modernize the Windows platform and reduce technical debt.
• Provide technical leadership and promote knowledge sharing, operational excellence, and continuous improvement.

Required skills:
