JMD Technologies Inc. is seeking a Senior Windows Platform & Automation Engineer to manage enterprise Windows Server environments, focusing on automation, security hardening, and platform modernization. Qualifications

• 7+ years hands-on experience engineering, securing, and supporting enterprise Windows Server environments.
• Strong experience with Windows Server, Active Directory, Group Policy, and PowerShell.
• Experience patch management, OS upgrades, vulnerability remediation, and security hardening.
• Experience with physical, virtual, and cloud Windows servers.
• Hands-on experience with AWS, Azure, VMware, and Nutanix environments.
• Solid knowledge of IaC and configuration management practices.
• Proficient in PowerShell, Ansible, and other automation tools.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex Windows infrastructure and production issues.
• Experience documenting standards, runbooks, and security baselines.
• Strong collaboration and communication across teams.
• Technical leadership supporting platform modernization initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Manage Windows Server platform lifecycle including builds, patching, OS upgrades, retirement, and remediation.
• Administer Windows Server environments: AD, GPO, and PowerShell-based operations.
• Drive automation and efficiency using PowerShell, Ansible, IaC, and CM tools.
• Support Windows Server infra across physical, VMware, Nutanix, and cloud environments.
• Establish security baselines, platform hardening, and Group Policy standards.
• Develop and improve runbooks, docs, and infrastructure standards.
• Troubleshoot complex Windows issues, identify root causes, implement solutions.
• Collaborate with Infrastructure, Security, and cross-functional teams for reliability and compliance.
• Coordinate platform activities with system administrators, ensuring governance.
• Evaluate emerging tech and propose modernization to reduce debt.
• Provide technical leadership and drive knowledge sharing.
