Job summary

U.S. Bank is seeking an experienced Windows Infrastructure Engineer to lead the administration, maintenance, and optimization of a large Windows Server environment.

The role focuses on AD, Group Policy, identity management, and hybrid cloud operations with AWS and Azure. The candidate will drive vulnerability remediation, patching, and security hardening, while designing automation with PowerShell and orchestration tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• 5+ years of enterprise Windows infrastructure experience.
• Strong AD, Group Policy, authentication and identity management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead administration, maintenance, and optimization of Windows Server infrastructure.
• Serve as the primary escalation point for Level 3 incidents with root cause analysis.
• Manage and support Active Directory, Group Policy, authentication services, and identity management solutions.
• Drive vulnerability remediation, security hardening, patching, and compliance initiatives.
• Design, develop, and maintain automation solutions using PowerShell and infrastructure‑as‑code.
• Support and optimize hybrid cloud environments across AWS and Microsoft Azure.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Windows performance, storage, and networking.
• Provide technical leadership, mentor engineers, and drive modernization across infrastructure.
