Job summary

Benz Technology Inc. in Fort Meade, MD is seeking a Senior Windows Engineer to provision, manage, and support Windows server environments across online and air-gapped networks.

You will own system reliability end-to-end—from monitoring and patching to incident resolution—and translate requirements into secure, scalable technical solutions with escalation across the full help desk spectrum. Role requires TS/SCI with Polygraph, U.S.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience provisioning and managing Windows Server in enterprise environments.
• Experience supporting air-gapped or classified network environments.
• Proficiency configuring network adapters, storage, and host-based firewalls.
• Experience with system monitoring tools for anomaly detection and alerting.
• Strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis for infrastructure outages.
• Experience with OS patching and security patch management processes.
• Tier 1–3 help desk and escalation support experience.

Responsibilities

• Provision, manage, and support Windows servers across online and air-gapped networks.
• Configure network adapters, storage, firewalls, and core services.
• Deploy and maintain monitoring tools to detect anomalies and prevent disruptions.
• Perform root cause analysis on outages and implement preventive fixes.
• Support hardware, software, and appliance deployments, upgrades, and patching.
• Provide Tier 1–3 help desk support for client, server, and network issues.
• Manage OS patching, hardware maintenance, and account administration including password resets.
