Job summary

Bright Vision Technologies is seeking an experienced Windchill Backend Developer to implement deep Windchill customizations using Java, PTC APIs, and customization frameworks. You will work close to the platform, extending its behavior while maintaining a clean, upgrade-friendly customization layer.

The ideal candidate has strong Java fundamentals, deep Windchill knowledge, and a disciplined, performance-minded engineering approach.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in CS, Engineering, or related field.
5+ years of Java development with Windchill focus.
Deep Windchill Java API and customization framework experience.
Solid Windchill data model, lifecycle, and workflow internals.
Strong Java OO design and performance engineering.
Experience with JSP, HTML, and Windchill client-side customization.
Hands-on experience with TAM (Type and Attribute Management).
Strong SQL skills and familiarity with Oracle or SQL Server.
Experience supporting Windchill upgrades.
Excellent troubleshooting and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

Develop Windchill backend customizations focusing on low-level changes.
Work with Java, PTC APIs, and customization frameworks.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate requirements into solutions.
Mentor junior engineers and participate in code/design reviews.
