Job summary

Enel North America Inc. is seeking a Wind Turbine Technician (Tech III) to inspect, troubleshoot, install components and repair wind turbines. The role emphasizes returning turbines to service promptly and safely. You will follow manuals and schematics to determine tools, equipment, and parts needed.

Responsibilities include maintenance, testing, documentation, and mentoring junior staff. Willingness to travel 25% and work at heights is required; benefits start day one.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of wind energy experience or related field.
• B.S. degree in electrical/technical field and 1+ year related experience.
• Strong attention to detail and safety.
• Proficient with electrical test equipment (DMM, megger).
• Familiarity with MS Office, SQL Server, and reporting tools.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled maintenance for mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems to maximize turbine generation.
• Install, test, maintain and troubleshoot components; assist with major components as needed.
• Compute current and voltage; prepare maintenance reports and records.
• Complete LOTO, JSA, and job-specific documentation for safe operations.
• Mentor junior technicians and support QA/QC activities.
• Coordinate with Technical Support for proactive repairs and site emergencies.
• Travel to other sites up to 25% and work at heights, sometimes 300 feet or more.
