Job summary

Truist is seeking an experienced professional to underwrite complex commercial credit relationships and actively manage a diverse Dealer Services portfolio. The role involves day-to-day client interaction, risk assessment, and adherence to regulatory guidelines.

The position emphasizes identifying emerging credit concerns, sector trends, funding pressures, and governance issues, with leadership responsibilities in mentoring junior staff and coordinating with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Finance or related field and at least 7+ years of related training and experience in commercial/Dealer Services credit analysis.
• Mastery level proficiency with MS Office Desktop applications.
• Strong interpersonal skills and solid written/verbal communication are essential.
• Sound credit skills essential.
• Must have strong attention to detail.
• Ability to prioritize workflow and multi-task in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Underwrites the entire commercial underwriting process both internally and externally with prospects and clients. Independently runs the most complex deals and largest credit relationships.
• Manages assigned portfolio by monitoring performance and defining client credit solutions and remediation.
• Expands client relationships through direct client calling efforts and develops solutions meeting client needs and bank risk criteria.
• Partners with Investment Banking peers to deliver complex financing solutions and stays informed on industry trends and market drivers.
• Mentors and coaches junior PMs, Associates, and Analysts including performance reviews.
