Job summary

Truist is seeking a seasoned professional to underwrite complex commercial credits and actively manage a Dealer Services portfolio. You will interact with clients, assess risk, and structure deals with regulatory compliance in mind.

The role requires deep knowledge of credit analysis, industry trends, and collaboration with internal partners to tailor financing solutions for large, leveraged, PEG-affiliated clients. Strong communication and detail orientation are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or related field and at least 7+ years of related training and experience in commercial/Dealer Services credit analysis.
• Mastery level proficiency with MS Office Desktop applications.
• Strong interpersonal skills and solid written/verbal communication are essential.
• Sound credit skills essential.
• Ability to prioritize workflow and multi-task in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Underwriting: leads the entire commercial underwriting process both internally and externally with prospects and clients.
• Portfolio Management: manages assigned portfolio, monitors performance and trends, and defines client credit solutions.
• Client Calling Effort: expands client relationships through direct client calling efforts.
• Subject Matter Expertise: collaborate with Investment Banking to deliver complex financing solutions.
• Deal Team Management: mentors junior PMs, Associates and Analysts including performance reviews.
• Nature and Area of Impact: deliver solid credit and underwriting analyses and risk rating recommendations.
