Penn E&R, Inc. in Pittsburgh, PA, is seeking a Wetlands Scientist to conduct environmental analysis and field work focused on wetland and stream delineation, habitat assessments, and permitting support for energy and infrastructure projects.

Qualifications

• BS/BA in environmental studies, planning, natural resources, engineering, or related field.
• 7+ years of experience within environmental consulting/regulatory field.
• Knowledge of wetlands/streams, PADEP/USACE permitting and environmental regulations preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct and lead field work including wetland delineations and habitat assessments.
• Participate in project siting, routing, and permitting studies for energy/utility projects.
• Prepare permit applications for federal/state environmental permits (e.g., USACE Sec 404/10, PADEP Ch 102/105).
• Coordinate with local, state, and federal agencies.
• Lead and develop junior staff; manage project costs and scheduling.
