Fishbeck, Thompson, Carr & Huber is seeking a Wetland Scientist to lead ecological consulting across the Midwest, focused on wetlands delineation, permitting, mitigation, and species evaluations. The role involves managing client relationships and project scopes within a growing environmental practice.

You will conduct field surveys, prepare technical reports, and coordinate with engineering teams. Candidates should have a strong background in botany or wetland ecology and be prepared for

Formación

• Bachelor degree in botany, wetland ecology, soil science, natural resource management, or related field.
• 5+ years of wetland delineation or related environmental consulting experience.
• Ability to obtain certification as a wetland/ecology professional is strongly desired.
• Strong field botany skills and local plant identification.
• Strong technical writing and communication skills.

Responsabilidades

• Manage clients, projects, budgets, and schedules.
• Oversee the development of reports and wetland-related documents.
• Lead and conduct natural features assessments and permitting efforts.
• Execute flora and fauna surveys and site assessments.
• Prepare proposals, work plans, and technical reports.
• Travel to project sites with occasional overnights.
