Job summary
Proteinea is seeking a Senior Infrastructure Wet Utilities Technical Office Engineer to oversee design reviews, shop drawings, and submittals for potable water, sewage, stormwater, irrigation, and firefighting networks. You will ensure compliance with project specs and client requirements while supporting site execution teams.
The role involves leading hydraulic calculations, coordinating with civil/electrical/mechanical disciplines, and mentoring junior engineers.
Qualifications
- Degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
- 7-10 years of infrastructure experience focusing on wet utilities.
- Experience with potable water, sewage, stormwater, firefighting, and irrigation networks.
- Knowledge of design standards and approval procedures.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and MS Office.
Responsibilities
- Review IFC drawings and project specs.
- Prepare and review shop drawings and coordination layouts.
- Handle material submittals, RFIs, and technical correspondences.
- Provide technical support to site teams during execution.
- Conduct hydraulic calculations and ensure proper design.
- Coordinate with design consultants and subcontractors.
- Prepare method statements and technical documentation.
- Monitor project progress from a technical perspective.
- Ensure compliance with international codes and authority requirements.
- Mentor junior engineers in the technical office team.
