Job summary

Micron Technology in Boise, Idaho seeks a Principal/MTS Wet Process Development Engineer to lead advanced wet process development for next generation DRAM nodes. You will drive process optimization, root-cause analysis, and lab-to-fab transfer, collaborating with cross-functional teams and vendors to deliver scalable, manufacturable solutions for high-volume production.

Qualifications

• PhD with 5+ years or Master’s with 7+ years semiconductor experience.
• 7+ years leading high-impact projects in semiconductor wet processes.
• Deep expertise in wet process development, lab-to-fab transfer.
• Strong fundamentals in kinetics, thermodynamics, and transport phenomena.
• Experience using AI or data science to optimize processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead development, optimization, and troubleshooting of wet process applications.
• Translate device scaling into roadmaps for wet process tech.
• Collaborate with PI and module teams to resolve complex challenges.
• Engage with vendors to develop next-gen solutions.
• Guide technical direction and risk mitigation across programs.
