Job summary

The Waters is seeking an Active Life Manager to design and engage wellness programs that promote physical, cognitive and social wellbeing for residents. You will oversee a team of active life coordinators, manage the community calendar, and lead integrative therapies in collaboration with therapists, chefs, and health wellbeing staff.

Ideal candidates bring experience in senior programming, CPR certification, and a holistic approach to thriving in a senior living community.

Qualifications

• Experience leading group classes that engage body, mind and spirit.
• Develop innovative, holistic programming for seniors.
• Experience working with integrative therapies and wellness modalities.
• Licensed/certified by an appropriate professional board or body.
• Current CPR certification.
• Holistic approach to helping seniors THRIVE in The Waters environment.
• Bachelor's degree in exercise science, recreational therapy, kinesiology, or related area preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee active life coordinators and program delivery.
• Manage the community calendar and plan purposeful programming.
• Lead teams delivering integrative therapies and coordinate with health wellbeing staff.
• Partner with therapists and kitchen/culinary teams to promote resident wellbeing.
