Job summary

Parallel Corporate seeks a passionate Fitness & Restorative Wellness Trainer to design and lead a holistic wellness program for seniors in a living community. This role blends rehabilitation-minded planning with engaging movement to improve strength, balance, mobility and quality of life.

You will conduct assessments, create restorative programming, and collaborate with nursing, PTs, OTs, and restorative staff to ensure care-aligned plans.

Qualifications

• Certified Personal Trainers with senior or clinical experience.
• Restorative Aides or Restorative Therapy Technicians with hands-on senior care experience.
• COTAs or PTAs seeking wellness-focused roles.
• Senior fitness certification preferred.
• CPR/AED certification current.
• Knowledge of arthritis, osteoporosis, Parkinson's, balance disorders, and dementia.

Responsibilities

• Assess residents' strength, balance, flexibility, and daily living skills.
• Design and deliver restorative programming—strength, balance, chair yoga, cognitive-motor activities.
• Lead one-on-one and group classes; keep residents motivated and engaged.
• Collaborate with nursing, physical therapy, occupational therapy, and restorative staff.
• Document progress and update wellness plans; track outcomes.
• Contribute ideas to evolve the wellness program.
