Job summary

Seabury, Inc. is seeking a dedicated Fitness & Wellness Coordinator to plan, deliver, and evaluate fitness and wellness programs for residents and staff. The role includes coordinating events, providing training and orientation, and ensuring safe, engaging activities across the Seabury Fitness & Wellness Center.

The coordinator will conduct assessments, maintain documentation, and stay current on research and trends in fitness, with strong emphasis on customer service and community engagement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science or directly related field and equivalent certification (ACSM, ACE, AFAA, NASM) Must possess a valid CPR, First Aid and AED certification.
• Experience with coordinating fitness and wellness programs for diverse populations.
• Ability to develop and deliver safe, effective fitness/wellness programs and assessments.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for working with residents, staff and external partners.
• Proficiency with data entry, reporting and basic analytics for program evaluation.

Responsibilities

• Plans, develops, organizes, and delivers fitness and wellness programs and social/recreational activities.
• Serves as a resource for residents and staff in achieving fitness goals.
• Administers fitness evaluations and orientations; takes blood pressure and body composition readings.
• Provides guidance on proper use of exercise equipment and safety procedures.
• Develops and presents reports and program analyses; coordinates internal/public events.
