Job summary

Trinity Oaks of Pearland in Pearland, TX, seeks a experienced Wellness Director to oversee the nursing department in our senior living community, ensuring high-quality, compassionate care and regulatory compliance.

This exempt, full-time role provides on-call coverage, leadership to the nursing team, on-going policy implementation, and collaboration with residents and families to support a vibrant, safe living environment.

Qualifications

• Must hold a current RN license in good standing.
• Minimum of three (3) years nursing experience in Assisted Living/Memory Care or health care.
• Minimum two (2) years supervisory/management experience with direct care staff.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and implement nursing policies and procedures reflecting current standards of nursing practice, company policies, and all government regulations (state/federal).
• Manage and analyze processes, KPIs and clinical data for optimal performance, utilize YARDi EMR.
• Communicate and interpret policies and procedures to nursing staff. Monitor practices for effective implementation and achievement of results.
• Conduct assessments suggesting a level of care for residents, as directed by the Wellness Director.
• Demonstrate knowledge of and application of Key Clinical Quality Indicators.
• Reviews 24-hour report from every unit daily to ensure timely, effective responses to significant changes in condition, transfers, discharges, unexplained injuries, potential abuse or neglect, medication errors, loss of resident property, or any evidence of resident or family dissatisfaction, as directed by the Wellness Director, or in their absence.
• Embrace healthy, frequent interactions with residents and their family members.
• Maintain up to date resident clinical data in chosen EMR system, YARDi.
