Job summary

FOX Rehabilitation is hiring a Fitness Specialist to lead group exercise and personal training for older adults in Huntley, IL. The role is part-time (10-20 hours/week) and embedded within a Senior Living Community, delivering evidence-based fitness programming to seniors.

You will grow the wellness program, collaborate with a therapy team of PT/OT/SLP, educate residents and families, and travel between communities for house calls as your territory grows.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Exercise Science or CPT certification.
• Experience with older adults in wellness settings preferred.
• CPR certification required or current.

Responsibilities

• Grow the wellness program and increase group class participation.
• Collaborate with FOX Therapy team (PT/OT/SLP) to refer patients to wellness.
• Educate residents and families on wellness program benefits.
• Travel to patient residences for house calls and expand to new communities.
