Job summary

FOX Rehabilitation is hiring a Fitness Specialist to lead group exercise and personal training for older adults at a Senior Living Community in Park Ridge, IL. This part-time role offers a clear path to grow your caseload and hours.

You will deliver evidence-based fitness programming through group classes, 1:1 and partner training, and travel to patient residences. A CPT credential or related degree is preferred, with CPR current, and you will collaborate with an interdisciplinary therapy team.

Qualifications

• Experience or strong interest in working with older adults in a proactive, wellness-focused setting.
• Ability to travel between Senior Living Communities and patient residences as needed.
• Current CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Grow the wellness program by increasing group class participation and building 1:1 and partner training client base.
• Collaborate with FOX Physical and Occupational Therapists and Speech Language Pathologists to support wellness referrals.
• Educate residents, families, and power-of-attorney on the benefits of wellness programming.
• Expand reach by traveling to patient residences and into additional communities as volume grows.
