Job summary

NHC HealthCare West Plains is seeking an Activities Assistant to join our team in West Plains, MO. You will help create and run engaging wellness activities for residents across Long Term Care, Memory Care, and Rehab services, tailoring programs to individual needs and maintaining accurate documentation.

The role requires creativity, energy, strong communication, and teamwork to enhance residents' quality of life.

Qualifications

• Must have High School Diploma or GED.
• Creative, energetic and able to work with families and community.
• Ability to plan and document activities, and follow guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a well-rounded wellness program for Long Term Care, Memory Care or Rehab patients (weekend/holiday hours may be required).
• Timely completion of assessments, care plans and associated paperwork.
• Ensure all local, State and Federal guidelines regarding programming are met.
• Bring the “fun” to activities and other duties as assigned.
