Job summary

NHC HealthCare West Plains in West Plains, MO is seeking an Activities Assistant to join a fun team and provide therapeutic programs that meet each resident's individual needs, delivering daily meaningful activities to enhance quality of life.

You will develop and implement a wellness program for Long Term Care, Memory Care or Rehab (including some weekend/holiday hours), complete assessments and care plans, and ensure compliance with local, state and federal guidelines while bringing the 'fun'

Qualifications

• Must be self-motivated, creative with positive attitude and enthusiasm.
• Must be able to work with families, partners, and the community.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a wellness program for Long Term Care, Memory Care or Rehab patients (weekend/holiday hours may apply).
• Complete assessments, care plans and related paperwork in a timely manner.
• Ensure compliance with local, state and federal guidelines for programming.
