Job summary

Falcons Landing in Northern Virginia is hiring a full-time Recreation/Activities Assistant to enhance residents' quality of life through engaging programs for seniors in Nursing, Assisted Living, and Memory Care neighborhoods.

You will plan and lead activities ranging from movement and crafts to cognitive games, coordinate the weekly schedule, and assist with outings or transportation as needed. Strong communication and compassion are essential.

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal communications and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to engage and lead activities for individuals and groups.
• Creative, enthusiastic, and compassionate personality.
• Availability to work weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate, plan, and implement engaging group and one-on-one activities.
• Lead the weekly activities calendar and organize outings.
• Assist with resident transportation to outings and events.
• Support residents across Nursing, Assisted Living, and Memory Care as needed.
