Job summary

AltaMed is seeking an Activities Coordinator within the PACE program to design and oversee a broad range of engaging activities for participants, including arts, crafts, movement, and community outings.

The role emphasizes coordination with the interdisciplinary team, adherence to program guidelines, and delivering person-centered activities for the frail and elderly population. A High School diploma is required, with a Bachelor's degree preferred; bilingual skills are a plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a High School diploma or equivalent; a bachelor’s degree is highly desirable.
• Minimum of 1 year experience coordinating activities for frail or elderly populations (preferred).
• Completion of 36-hour Activity Leader course approved by CA within 30 days of hire.
• Bilingual English/Spanish/Mandarin/Cantonese preferred depending on location.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and oversee activities for PACE participants across physical, cognitive, social and spiritual well-being.
• Coordinate and promote engaging activities; use arts, crafts, music, movement and outings.
• Ensure adherence to PACE guidelines and regulatory requirements; work under supervision of PACE Care Center Supervisor.
