Hadrian is hiring a Training Specialist - Welding to lead site welding training, covering TIG, MIG and mechanized processes. You will run evaluations, maintain training records, and ensure programs meet audit standards while collaborating with naval customers.

The role requires 3+ years in training and welding production exposure, with strong organizational skills and willingness to travel ~25% to LA for training.

Qualifications

• Experience in TIG (GTAW), MIG (GMAW) and mechanized welding.
• 3+ years in a training/instructing role focused on entry-level workers.
• At least 1 year welding in a production environment.
• Proven ability to train entry-level to mid-level welders to a written standard.
• Openness to learning new processes and reteaching as they change.
• Comfort using software to record training, evaluations, and qualifications.
• Experience maintaining audit-ready training documentation.
• Ability to identify learning patterns and give actionable recommendations to leadership.
• Self-starter who manages time and priorities with minimal oversight.
• Willingness to travel about 25%, mainly to LA facility for training.

Responsibilities

• Lead welding training at the site with hands-on instruction in booth and floor.
• Own the evaluation process: weld tests, practical assessments, quizzes, progress reporting, criteria.
• Record training and qualifications in training software; maintain audit-ready documentation.
• Develop and refine welding curriculum with the training lead and align with Hadrian’s standards for the naval customer.
