Job summary

DISHER is seeking a Senior Industrial Engineer to support a 2-year project in the Medical Device industry. The role emphasizes welding operations, technical direction, and cross-functional collaboration with manufacturing, quality, and tooling teams.

Key duties include executing welding tasks, developing and qualifying welding processes, and sustaining operations across multiple welding lines. Strong emphasis on safety, compliance with AWS/ISO, and document control.

Qualifications

• Experience with welding processes and procedures in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to read weld symbols and blueprints for correct fabrication.
• Root-cause analysis and implementation of corrective actions.

Responsibilities

• Execute welding engineering tasks aligned with build schedules and milestones.
• Support development, qualification, and documentation of production welding processes.
• Assist with technical reviews, feasibility assessments, and readiness activities for welded subassemblies.
• Troubleshoot production issues, including process deviations and equipment concerns.
• Support root-cause analysis and corrective actions for weld-related defects or quality issues.
• Maintain weld procedures, parameters, and documentation.
