Job summary

Lactalis American Group in Nampa, ID, is seeking a Maintenance Technician III – Welding Fabricator to read blueprints, fabricate metal components, and perform quality checks on finished products. You may set up machines and design templates as needed.

The role requires 3+ years of related maintenance experience, strong welding skills, and the ability to troubleshoot and work with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced dairy processing environment.

Qualifications

• Associate degree from a two-year college or technical school.
• 3+ years’ related maintenance experience preferred.
• Ability to interpret technical instructions and read blueprints.
• Working knowledge of production and packaging machinery.

Responsibilities

• Machining fabrication materials and components.
• Fitting, setting, and installing fabricated structures.
• Cutting and welding with various processes.
• Metal forming, bending, finishing.
• Repair, design, layout, and estimation.
• Read and interpret engineering blueprints.
• Develop and design welding projects.
• Inspect and test welds.
• Setting up metalworking machinery including rollers, drill presses, flame cutters, brakes, and shears.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office, Outlook, and Maximo.
