Shipbuilders of Wisconsin in Manitowoc, WI, is seeking skilled Welders/Shipfitters to perform certified aluminum welding in all positions using MIG or TIG processes. You will read drawings, set up welds, and contribute to hull and superstructure fabrication in a shipyard environment.

Candidates must follow welding prints, maintain tools, and adhere to safety and quality standards. Growth through skill-level advancement is available within the metal fabrication department.

Formación

• Read and write in English.
• High school or technical welding training or equivalent.
• Willingness to learn and follow safety practices.

Responsabilidades

• Perform basic setup and weld preparation.
• Weld using MIG or TIG as directed by supervision.
• Read blueprints, welding prints and symbols.
• Follow safety protocols, PPE use and shop practices.
• Maintain tools and workspace, complete QA forms.
• Assist with material positioning and fitting.
