Baker Hughes in Houston is seeking a Welder II to perform cladding and weld repair on gas turbine and steam turbine components, following approved procedures and safety standards. You will read engineering drawings, apply TIG and MIG weld overlays, and support production schedules across shifts.

The role demands 7+ years of welding experience in manufacturing or repair, ability to work independently, and a strong commitment to quality.

Competenze

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 7+ years welding experience in manufacturing or repair.
• Experience with TIG and MIG welding, including foot controls.
• Manual TIG welding experience.
• Knowledge of welding procedures and repair techniques.
• Experience with SMAW and GMAW processes preferred.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and technical docs.
• Strong commitment to quality, safety and continuous improvement.
• Advanced degree may substitute part of the experience.

Mansioni

• Perform welds and repairs on gas turbine and steam turbine components.
