Job summary

Leonardo DRS is seeking a full time Senior Welder for our Bridgeton, MO facility. This position will be responsible for fabricating and manufacturing production parts in accordance with sketches and blueprints provided.

The role will also include interfacing with Engineering when needed for various fabrications. Candidates should have 5+ years welding experience with MIG and TIG, read blueprints and weld symbols, and adhere to AWS/ASME standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 5+ years of welding experience.
• Proficiency with MIG and TIG welding.
• Experience interpreting sketches, blueprints and weld symbols.
• Understanding of metallurgy, shop safety and quality requirements.

Responsibilities

• Welds using MIG, TIG, and related processes to spec and codes.
• Interpret blueprints and weld symbols; ensure conformance to AWS/ASME.
• Perform material prep, setup, and measurements for welds.
• Read and apply production drawings; coordinate with Engineering and QA.
• Inspect welds visually and maintain equipment and workspace.
